1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how the application Vocara handles user data. Vocara is designed to operate 100% locally on the user’s device. No personal data or scanned content is ever transmitted to external servers.
2. Data collection
Vocara collects no personal data of any kind.
- No user account is required.
- No analytics or tracking is performed.
- Vocabulary lists, courses, lessons and statistics are stored locally on the device.
- No information is sent to the developer or third parties.
3. Local processing
All features — lesson creation, OCR scanning, progress tracking, profile export — run entirely on-device. Vocara does not communicate with any remote server.
4. Permissions
Camera
The camera is used only to capture documents and create interactive lessons. Captured images never leave the device.
Local storage
Local storage is used to save lessons, progress and settings. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
5. Data sharing by the user
Users may export or share individual lessons, full courses or a complete user profile (for example to move to another device or share with another student).
These data are transferred only to the recipient chosen by the user, using the standard iOS sharing mechanisms (AirDrop, Messages, Mail, etc.). Vocara does not receive or store this data.
6. Data deletion
Users can at any time:
- delete a lesson or a course;
- delete a local user profile;
- delete the app itself to remove all data from the device.
